           Steve

"A relationship is important to me, I want to fall in love and settle down with one woman and be happy," says 27-year-old Steven. "I just hope it doesn’t take a lifetime to find her." This 5'9" high school Spanish teacher, who grew up in Southern California, but studied for six months in Argentina, says his best qualities are that he "makes people feel comfortable and is fun to be around." With his model good looks, this green-eyed Cancer recently landed an international ad campaign for Comodynes, a popular European skin care line, which is being introduced in the States. What makes him a great catch: "When I truly fall in love with someone, she’ll feel like the only woman in the world."

Born:  March Air Force Base, Riverside, Ca Conceived in Madrid, Spain (my dad was on a military mission and my mom went and paid him a visit). "I'm an Air Force brat who fortunately didn't move around too much as a child. Aside from one year in Montgomery, Alabama as a second grader catching turtles and crawdads, I lived in Southern CA my entire life."

Resides: Santa Monica, Ca 90405

Birthday: 07/19/74

Sign: Cancer

Height: 5’9

Weight: 160

Build: Athletic

Hair: brown

Eyes: green/hazel

Nationality: USA

Ethnic: Caucasion

Family: One older brother - he’s married, my parents are still together (34 years!). My mom is a high school teacher, my dad is an airline pilot and my brother is also an airline pilot. I grew up surfing, swimming and playing soccer.

Status: Single, never married

No Children

Engaged before: no

Education: Bachelor or Arts in Telecommunications and Spanish from Pepperdine University. I joined a fraternity and was on the Pepperdine Surf Team. My junior year, I spent six months in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I lived with a family and studied at the University of Belgrano.

Occupation: "High School Spanish Teacher (Spanish and ESL substitute) / actor and writer (you’ll probably edit that out though because I don’t make much $$ from the other two even though that’s what I ultimately aspire for in life …"

"Recently appeared in an international ad campaign for Comodynes skin cream, popular in Europe."

Income: "I’m poor so I’d rather not say. Actually we’re talking about high-end seven figures baby."

Smoker: "No, but I can’t say I haven’t smoked a cigarette before."

Steven is a man who ... "knows that everyone has sex dwelling in the brain.  And he’s not too shy about expressing his sexuality."

Best Qualities: "I make people feel comfortable. I try and view other’s perspectives on life before I decide whether or not to label them as a complete Daryl. I tend to discover the good in people. I'm not afraid to make mistakes. I'm very secure but I'm human and I prove it by making stupid mistakes sometimes which makes me very likeable.  I seem to be a major link with my friends and most of them come to me for support. I'm very open and outgoing and I'm not afraid to ask for help. Most of all, I'm fun to be around and people like to get to know me."

Strengths: "I’m concerned about other’s well being. Good intuition."

Weaknesses: "Again I’m concerned about other’s well being. I think I need to be a little more selfish sometimes. Sometimes I can be a little indecisive, too."

What I see in yourself that others may not see: "I’m pretty emotional (people who know me well know that anyway). It's very hard to hide my emotions (so I don't try) and most of the time I'm in a good mood but I've adopted the nickname "volcano" from my roommate. But someone has to do some serious damage in order for me to be in `volcano mode'."

I've been known to ... "run around naked at parties."

Interests: "Acting, writing, painting (portraits of women with acrylics), play guitar, hanging out with my family and friends, surfing, eventually making lots of money at what I love to do, and of course sex."

Special Talents: "Writing and painting."

Awards, accolades, titles: "Eagle Scout, fifth grade student of the month (ha,ha), we won CIF in water polo my junior year in high school. I was voted homecoming king my senior year."

Charitable involvement: "When I was at Pepperdine University living in Malibu, I helped sandbag during the mudslides. When I was thirteen I contributed to a water conservation garden display by clearing all the land so they could grow beautiful desert plants. The facility still exists to this day."

What I do for a living: "Pick oranges and scrounge around under my truck seats and couch for quarters. Sometimes I teach kids how to speak English and Spanish. I’m a dime a dozen in the acting world."

My 15 minutes of fame: "I remember going to a radio station in Merced, Ca when I was four years old with my brother’s cub scout group. I was trying to say the name of the radio station but I stuttered over and over again and they recorded it. It played on the radio for weeks. I was on the Love Connection a few years ago."

Where I was born and my ethnic origin or ancestry: "Well I already told you where I was born but I was conceived in Madrid, Spain. My dad’s side is mostly Welch. My mom’s side is English and a bit Dutch. So mostly from the UK and I haven’t even been there!!! My parents used to tell me they found me “sailing down the river” when I was baby."

The places I have lived or traveled: "I used to live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve traveled to Europe several times. Surfed in the south of France. Did cliff jumping in Greece. Ate pizza in Italy. Drank lots of beer in Germany. Scandinavia and the UK are the only two places I didn’t visit. Had a seven-thousand-mile relationship that required me to fly to Holland several times. I’ve been practically to every state in the US considering my Pops was a pilot in the Air Force. And of course Mexico (Baja) surf trips."

Spiritual and/or religious views: "God is the higher power. I never really went to church. I believe that church isn’t a man-made structure. It’s in your heart. I believe in the Bible but I don’t interpret it literally because I don’t think the world was created in seven days, more like seven trillion days. I hate hypocrites. Practice what you preach! Don’t tell me what’s right and wrong when you’re making the same mistakes. And I refuse to believe that more than half the world is condemned because they don’t believe in that particular religion. Treat others how you want to be treated and your spirit will fly, as far as I’m concerned."

My fashion sense: "I feel comfortable wearing clothes that are fitting but not too tight. I only tuck my shirt in when I’m wearing a suit or a tux, no exceptions. If the shirt is too long, I won’t wear it."

How I stay healthy and in shape: "I try and follow the “Body for Life” routine. I cheat a little more than I should but fortunately I get away with it."

What touches my soul: "Success stories from people who didn’t even have a chance. My family and circle of friends."
Views on relationships/marriage: "I’m a sucker because I’m so damn picky when it comes to settling down. I guess it can be good because I want to fall in love and stay married unlike most relationships these days. On the flip-side I hope it doesn’t take a lifetime to find her either. I hope that one day, I'll be able to settle down with one woman and be happy. A relationship is important to me - I just want to find the right one."

When it comes to women ... "I have a hard time controlling my hormones and most of the time I'm very expressive about my sexuality and women seem to dig the fact that I don't hide what's on my mind. At least I'm honest. It's not my fault if they regret it the next morning. We're both adults here. I've never known them to regret it though. I swear I'm not cocky, seriously. Maybe because I smile so much, I seem innocent regardless of what I say."

How can a woman get my attention: "Very easily."

Ideal woman: "Charismatic, intelligent, confident, athletic, flat tummy, shapely legs and butt, beautiful eyes, smooth skin, healthy hair. I might add that boobs are optional but that doesn’t mean much less than a handful either. Fake boobs look good but they don't compare to the sensation of a natural breast. I'm more into the shape of the butt and legs and flat tummies. A “Jessica Beal” pretty much sums it up. (edit what you will Kathy, ha,ha). I've been trying to get past the fact that there is no perfect woman generally speaking. But a close-to-perfect woman is someone who is stunning without make up. Natural beauty rules. I don't have a preference with hair color or length. Healthy hair on the other hand is important. There is something about an athletic woman that enhances my attraction. She cares about herself, she looks good, she knows she looks good and she's going to live a long healthy life physiologically and mentally (and make great babies). I like a woman who is down-to-earth and real. I hate games. She needs to be somewhat family oriented. She's comfortable with her sexuality and she likes sex as much as I do. She's educated with a knack for common sense and human interaction. She's gotta get along with my buddies. It's not hard to do if you're open-minded. And most of all she needs to be confident and secure with herself. Nothing is worse than a woman who is overly insecure. I like to learn from woman, not trip out on them."

Keys to a great relationship: "Communication, I can’t say it enough. Sexual compatibility, and that’s usually only possible with communication."

What makes a woman unforgettable: "Selfless attitude."

A woman who is in a relationship with me can expect: "To learn a lot and either love it or hate it."

What I expect: "I expect a woman to allow me to be myself. If you try and change me too much, forget it. I’m me, not your ex-boyfriend."

What's the greatest lesson you've learned from a relationship: "Stay away from an overly insecure woman. I’ve discovered so much about what I don’t want in a woman after dating one. So I guess if you want to really learn a good lesson, date one and breach the walls of insanity until it hopefully comes to an abrupt ending. You’ll learn that her insecurity leads to her jealousy, her selfishness, trivial brawls, and eventually you’re both partaking in a vicious cycle if you’re not careful."

Ideal date: "One that you find yourself so stoked that you “almost” have to play it cool."

Me, a deserted island and ... "my most ideal woman, my surfboard and all the food you can eat. And an infinite amount of genie bottles so I can wish for practical things so you won’t be starring in “Cast Away II”."

Turn ons: "A confident woman who knows what her faults are and has accepted them. It’s even more of a turn on when this particular woman is attracted to me."

Turn offs: "Overly insecure women!!!"

What makes me a great catch: "If I truly fall in love with someone she’ll feel like the only woman in the world."

What do you wish women understood more about men: "That even though, “they’re out to get laid”, ultimately they’d rather find their perfect lover. By the way, woman can be just as guilty."

Favorite Movie: "It’s impossible to pick just one, sorry … The Shawshank Redemption, Snatch, Notting Hill, Friday … just to get an idea."

Favorite TV Show: "Jack Ass, South Park, Discovery and Animal Planet stuff."

Favorite Book: "Playboy, or is that not a book?"

Favorite Music: "I love punk rock, I love some of Kroq’s music and Power 106. Incubus, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and then there’s Nate Dogg, 2-Pac, Ice Cube, and then there’s Enya and Jeff Buckley. I have hundreds of CDs. I even make time for Shania Twain (but she’s the extent of my country music). I’m very open-minded when it comes to music because I appreciate it so much. Imagine a movie without a soundtrack. It would be pretty funny. Music is huge when it comes to bringing out the emotion in movies."

Favorite Food: "Homemade tacos with lots of cheese and occasional Thousand Island dressing."

Favorite Season: "Summer, I love skin."

Nicknames I've been called: "Beaver, Baby Buddha, Grids, Lil Grids (do to my big brother), young steven, not-so-young-steven, spanky, rat boy (you can add that one if you want kathy)."

Tattoos/piercings: "Just one 12 gauge in each ear."

Wheels: "Toyota pick-up truck."

Pets: "I’ve gone through tons of reptiles, my parents still have my “Trible” (She’s a 14 year old Pomeranian still humping legs!)."

What character in a novel or film best describes you: "I’ve been told a cross between Maverick (Top Gun), Tristan (Legends of the Fall) and Stiffler (AmericanPie) … however that works out."

Secret fantasy: "Well then it wouldn’t be a fantasy now would it? It has something to do with naked woman of course."

What items are always in my refrigerator: "Ketchup and mustard because that usually lasts the longest."

How I plan to make my mark on the world: "I’ll be in the Almanac someday."

Responsibility to Society: "To treat others as I would."

One lesson that life has taught me: "Don’t forget who you’re true friends are."

What I try to get out of life everyday: "Every day I try and do something creative whether it’s working on a screenplay, a painting, playing the guitar or trying to get an acting gig."

Three things I must do in this lifetime: "Become successful at what I love to do, marry the woman I love and have a family, and attempt to pay my parents back for their unconditional love and support."

Best advice I've received: "Never lose confidence in yourself."

What's the best advice you've ever given a woman: "Too much of anything is bad."

Hottest possession: "My body and soul."
Who I would like to change places with for 24 hours: "Brad Pitt."

The person I would most like to hang out with: "Madonna - because she's been on the cutting edge her whole life, she's so prolific. I have a lot of respect for her, she's an icon. Chris Tucker because he's hilarious."

One word that best describes me: "Smiley."

What I'm looking for by being profiled: "God knows."

Anything else we should know about you: "I think that’s the end of the book."
